This collection as presented is in many ways unique. It contains ALL the different stamps regularly issued by the Old Italian States between 1850 and 1870. Some of them have varieties or cancellations of which very few exist. It also contains the most rarest, for the first time ever all together, and notably:
- the Toscana 4 Crazie inverted tablet (1 known, the most rarest Old Italian States Stamp)
- the 80 Cents of the Provisional Government of Parma (5 known loose stamps, of which 4 surviving, 1 on cover, here is shown the first known date of usage)
- a Yellow and a Rose Mercury used in Lombardy Venetia (only a handful known)
This collection as such has been exhibited in Luganophila in 2014, but without the "4 Crazie Tuscany inverted tablet". Today, it can really be called "complete". To my best knowledge, nobody managed to ever display all above items simoultaneously, in one single collection. By posting it here I want to offer the possibility to share it with whom loves this tiny pieces of paper, whom accompained so many lost dreams and emotions, but surely can create new ones. And also thank all the dealers, who became friends, and who helped me put it together.
